Dairyfood USA, Inc., a SQF level 3 certified market leader in specialty cheese production for over 60 years, is currently seeking a Food Scientist to perform research and development activities to include innovation, brand maintenance, productivity and quality initiatives. Based in our production facility in the heart of America’s Dairyland, Blue Mounds, WI, this position reports to the Director of Product Development.
This position supports the formulation, development and evaluation of new products, and the continued advancement of current products, within the product development guidelines of SQF. This position will also support the organization’s quality assurance initiatives, ensuring that our industry leading quality standards are maintained and further developed. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an applied R&D environment in the food industry. Professional experience in an applied R&D environment in the processed cheese industry is preferred.
